I am a mother of three young children, a physician assistant, and a wife to a pastor. These are my thoughts and reflections on life–and how grace permeates each aspect of our days.
Why “acid grace”?
I have come to know grace as more than a gentle covering for wrongdoing, a dismissal of wrong, or an absence of justice. The grace of the scripture is a hard-won and desperate act that redeems even those sins of which we are not yet aware. And we are thereby acquitted. Walking in that grace means owning the depth of depravity which has made the cross necessary. It is the kind of grace that burns before it heals.
